This wasn't actually the background. My car was in the shot. Thanks to photoshop, there is no more car. I wish I was as good at taking pictures as I was at photoshopping them.

Also, this kid won the "champ of the day" award. And he's, like, my new best friend for being my model.

I hate still life.

I absolutely, positively hate still life. I don't care if I'm drawing it, painting it or photographing it. For whatever reason, I hate it. I always have. I'm super excited to take the still life class... Not. For kind of just slapping these together, I don't think they turned out too badly.

That was Hpnotiq + infinity box + 3 hot lights + photoshop. Hoorah.

And that's a six year-old pair of shoes on a worn porch that I lit to look like the sun was setting.
